Before your first class

  • Wear something you can move and sweat in. Sneakers or smooth-soled shoes, no flip flops.
  • You don't need a partner. We rotate.
  • Arrive five minutes early so you're not learning the first eight-count from the doorway.
  • Free parking right outside on Ramsey.

Your first class is the hardest one to show up to. After that it's just fun.

About

I'm Yessi, and Mee You started the way most good things do: I kept saying yes to things I wasn't entirely qualified for yet.

Mee You is considered a “third space,” many things at once: a dance floor, a micro event space, a creator studio, and a venue. It’s a dance floor because I believe moving our bodies is a gateway to sovereignty. It's a micro event space for the art of gathering, for anything too small for a venue and too big for an apartment. And it's a studio for creators who need a stocked place to make things.

Right now it's one space, one vision, and one person: me. Soon it will serve many people. That's the goal, and that's where you come in.
